Philanthropy

Simply Strung Together has been very busy!

 

 

Below is a brief description of our activities.

 

Business/Organization
     

 

FUND-RAISERS

~We have done multiple fund-raiser bracelets and earring for the American Heart Association through Excela Health.  We will also be having another fund-raiser in the year 2009! 

~We are in process of running a fundraiser for Mental Health of America.

~ We have also done a fund-raiser for Cub Scouts this year.

~ We have done a variety of Fund-raising shows for single mothers the last two years.

~ We have done a fund-raiser for Go International - Short-term missions through long-term partnerships in 2008 and soon to do another fund-raiser in 2009. If you are interested in this worthy cause, please visit their site and see what all they do at www.gointernational.org.

~ We will be our on-line fund-raiser for Lupus awareness and research--a cause close to my heart to raise money by selling bracelets with the signature butterfly this December.  

~ We have given money for bringing awareness dementia and Alzheimer's this year.

~ We have also done a fund-raiser for the Toys for Tots and have given a Chinese auction gift to be raffled this year.

~ We have also given a Chinese auction give to raise money to the Girl Scouts this year.

~We have given generously to many Chinese auctions throughout the year for various causes.

MEMBERSHIPS

We are a member of the Westmoreland County Chamber of Commerce.

Simply Strung Together was a member of The Contemporary Business Women's Luncheon-Luncheon with a purpose!  Christine Hoke is one of the founders along with Tricia Nicholson.
